Emergency DIY spoon.

A while back, my son and I went on a spur of the moment camping trip. We threw the gear in the truck and booked it. We got everything set up and and figured we'd make some Mountain House to eat. (it's all we brought with us) Sooo. Upon getting everything together, I forgot to put my utensils back in my pack after washing them at home. I dug around in the truck and found a coke bottle and this is what I did.

Cut a section out of the bottle, keeping that little curved part on the bottom intact.

Trim it up and fold the edges over to make the handle rigid.

They worked great and we used them all weekend without incident. And for the fellow tree huggers....note the recycle logo in the spoon. LOL
